No. I The House

A small team
in Fort Worth, running e-commerce.

We’re a group of operators, engineers, photographers, and merchandisers who decided to build the commerce platform we wanted to buy. We run our own brand on it; we run other people’s brands on it; we work from one building in Fort Worth, Texas.

No. II · Beliefs

Six things we believe.

Own the stack

Rented infrastructure rots. We build on open code (Magento, Hyva, Laravel) so the rights to what we ship stay with the people who run it.

Design is not a skin

E-commerce that looks like a template sells like a template. Visual brands deserve storefronts that read as editorial first, transactional second.

AI for grind work

Seasonal variants, translation, metadata, repricing — these are honest uses of machines. Hero imagery and storytelling are not.

Include, don’t add-on

If a brand needs a feature to operate, it should come in the box. Pricing by app count punishes the brands that need the most.

Pass-through, not mark-up

Marketplace fees, ad spend, shipping — passed through at cost. Trust compounds; mark-up erodes.

Platform as a team

Software is half the answer. The other half is the operators who know when to reprice, when to refill, when to replatform.

No. III

Fort Worth,
by design.

We work from one building in Fort Worth, Texas — warehouse on one side, studio on the other, engineers up the stairs. It’s not the glamorous choice; it’s the practical one. Product that photographs well ships well. Engineers who see the warehouse build better PIMs. The whole house is the stack.

No. IV · Founder

Brandon Lind.

Founder & operator

I run commerce, warehousing, and the engineering stack from the same building in Fort Worth. Before Sparkles, I ran direct-to-consumer operations for home and rhinestone brands on every platform you can name — Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento 1, Magento 2 — and kept finding the same gap: the platform sold the software but left the operator to stitch together fourteen apps and three agencies.

Sparkles Commerce is the opposite bet. One team, one number, one line on your invoice. I stay close to every client — migrations, reprice decisions, post-launch tuning — because it’s my name on it and my warehouse next door.
